I would like to meet up with other Tea Party goers to help with the cause. I think the Tea Parties are a great idea but it seems that the Manhattan group should be meeting organizing and discussing up coming events. We need to be seen. I am getting more fearful each day I read the news. Anyone familiar with the Gun Bill HR 45 and SR 2099. What is going on with our Congresspeople and do they even know the constitution anymore?

Hello,
I am Patrick J. Gray. I attended the Tea Party and meeting during May. I understand that there are some future events approaching for the Manhattan Tea Party Group.
I have an idea which I believe would be legal and proper. With the choice of the US Supreme Court Nominee, I believe she has opinions and views that conflict with her ability to be a judge for this court. She may be qualified, but a judge is to interpret the law based upon constitution and established laws and not decide just on personal preferences or social injustices view.
I believe we can go to houses within Manhattan and go ask the citizens to sign a petition to ask your Kansas Senators to not support and not vote for her. We should do more research on her that is available online in order to provide to the citizen if not informed.
I ask that you and the others think about my idea. I know we have jobs and other responsibilities, so maybe just doing this every saturday during lat morning and early afternoon.
Thanks.
Patrick J. Gray
